Take the library with you as you browse the web. Montana State University Libraries has created a set of search plugins that allow you to search library materials from within your favorite web browser.
Among your search options:
- Library Catalog
- Collection 10 – James Willard Schultz Collection
- Electronic Theses and Dissertations
If you see one you like, click on the “install” link and you’ll be able to search the library from the top left corner of your web browser. (Hint: It’s the search form that usually defaults to Google).
If you have questions or need some technical advice about the search plugins, contact us.
The MSU Libraries plan to roll out our new website in December 2007. This site is still very much under construction and you may find some broken links or temporary filler, but we wanted to make sure you could see the new look as soon as possible. If you have questions, comments, or concerns about the new site, tell us what you think!
Win an iPod Nano and other fabulous prizes when you submit a 3 to 5 minute film, telling us how you use the library in your studies.
Films can be comedies, tragedies, horror, satire, etc.
Submit finished films to YouTube by November 1, 2007.
Full details and passwords for submission can be found at www.lib.montana.edu/contest/.
MSU Libraries strives to keep your personal information secure. We will no longer be using the last 4 digits of the social security number as an identifier for your Library accounts.
For Bozeman staff and students, this will affect all your Library Accounts (ILL, Proxy, Circulation, and E-Reserves).
For Billings, Great Falls, and Northern staff and students, this will affect only Proxy, and Circulation. As part of this effort, your password (which was loaded as the L4SSN) for these services must be changed.
We have made it convenient for you to change your own password. Please take the time now to do this by following this link: Change your password
